AMHERST, Va (WSET) — A new brewing company in Amherst officially opened its doors on June 10.
Trapezium Brewing Company has launched Camp Trapezium on Union Hill Road.
The business is in the former Amherst Milling Company and sits on 100 acres of land.
They serve wood-oven pizza and, of course, beer!
Dave McCormack, the brewery owner and President of Waukeshaw Development, said he excited to keep up the charm of a building with years of history.
“To see people respond to this in such a positive, amazing way and to see, to continue the history and stewards of a building like this that is really the true pay off.”
McCormack says the property has eight rooms that are Airbnbs and available to rent out.
The site is also has a permaculture farm, so a lot of their food is grown on-site.
