Sell limited-edition collectibles, such as glassware, t-shirts, tote bags, hats, and more, in your taproom and approved events. The Guild will provide participating breweries with downloadable marketing assets to use across digital platforms and within taprooms.

Breweries participating in the 2026 collectibles program will be featured in communications and marketing by the guild, VA250, and Fans of Virginia Craft Breweries.

Revolutionary Brews™ is a historic beer collaboration program as part of the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild (VCBG) commemorative partnership with VA250 to celebrate Virginia’s brewing heritage and revolutionary legacy—from colonial tavern ales to today’s award-winning craft beer—during the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution in Virginia.

Participating breweries in this collaboration will brew historically inspired beers using documented colonial and Virginia heritage ingredients, connecting modern taprooms to the taverns, farmsteads, and fermenters where Virginians debated liberty, toasted resistance, and rallied for independence.

From the first brewery in Jamestown to the taverns of Williamsburg, where the House of Burgesses defied royal authority, beer has been a part of revolutions, built communities, and shaped civic life. Join us in telling the story of craft beer.

Program partners have access to regional partners and to free promotional materials highlighting key milestones in Virginia’s history.

The Virginia Craft Beer Graphic Design Award™ recognizes exceptional graphic design and art created for and by independent Virginia craft brewery employees and their creative partners. Designs by the winner(s) of the Virginia Craft Beer Design Award™ will be considered for the 2026 Virginia Craft Beer Collectibles™ line.
